Work in progress: bat-eared dragon

Here’s my current WIP. He will be a wingless large-eared dragon, inspired by a picture of a Townsend’s big-eared bat (which you can see in the bg of the first pic). He’s sitting on a piece of driftwood. That blasted armature took me two days…. I should really learn how to solder. 🙂 I really hope this piece works out well; I’m doing a couple of new experiments with this one. I want to make his ears translucent, for one thing. I’m playing with mulberry paper (that’s the red stuff); we’ll see if it works like I imagined. So far, so good!
